Lady Sunshine

A very beautiful horse, being a direct daughter of the legendary Lord Sinclair, one of the most renowned dressage sires of all time, with a dam by the Holstein foundation stallion Cor de la Bryere. Owing to her excellent manner of jumping, her willing character and her exceptional looks, this horse would make an ideal Hunter for the American circuit. On account of the very interesting pairing in her pedigree of two of the most legendary sires of all times, she is also very interesting from a breeder’s point of view. As a brood mare, she has already been very successful, having borne two excellent foals as well as winning the mare Vice Championship medal. Her sire’s breeder is Martin Niedermair, one of Bavaria’s foremost breeders whose horse have been under my saddle for years. Personally, we own Lady Sunshine’s half brother, the Lord Sinclair son Lautrec, an extremely successful dressage stallion who was 2006 Federal Championship Finalist as well as being a gold medallist in last year’s Southern German Championships.

Lady Sunshine displays an exceptionally good attitude toward rider and performance, is a very kind horse that can be ridden by just about anyone. Like her father, she is very willing, always balanced, soft in the mouth. Everyone who rides her feels extremely comfortable in her saddle. This uncomplicated horse has a great personality, would thus also make an ideal change-over horse from the pony classes. She has an ideal jumping manner but also all the necessary requirements to make a great dressage horse. On account of having had two foals, she has not yet performed on the circuit and it is difficult to say just how far she can go in the sport, but there seems to be no limit to her potential from what I can tell at this stage. There are three excellent basic gaits, of which especially her canter impresses with an enormous stride. Her hindquarters are way above average in quality, and on account of her compact size of 16.2 hands she would also make an ideal lady’s horse.
